If we invest in the digital scanning of Path slides and send as consults or receive digital consults, is there any new billing to consider? I would think received consults would still qualify as 88321, referred slides prepared elsewhere.
Is there any thing in the works to be added to CPT codes next year?

We are also looking into this, I think billing will be the same for this, that is what we are being told
 
Does any one know if digital pathology is one of the performance Cat II codes like the Breast/Colon physician quality initiative?
