Hi I was wondering if someone could help me with something. My provider bills for HHA certification and plan of care. Now I usually bill one time for the cert period 7/10/14-9/13/14 if he seen the patient say 7/15/14 is that correct? He is asking since he seen the patient 7/15/14, 8/16/14,9/10/14 can I bill all 3 since it is still in the cert period? Any help would be appreciated.
 
Hi,
If you're billing for the 485 form completion, as you know, the code is G0180.
If the provider sees the patient, say for an E/M visit, this is separate than billing for the completion of the home health certification.
