When billing for the visit to a hospice facility by a non-employed physician, do you just use outpatient office visit codes 99212-99215? I know we have to add GV, place of service 34. I appreciate input here. The guidelines tell me I am billing Part B, but not much else.

You might want to also look at the Nursing Facility codes 99304-99310 or the Domiciliary, Rest Home or Custodial Care Services codes 99324-99337, or even the Home Services codes 99341-99350. If none of those situations work, then use the Office or Other Outpatient Services codes.

Hospice billing

I know the SNF and NF have different place of service codes.
I cannot use codes for nursing facility. I have ruled that out.
