Anyone out there billing for lactation consulting by the MD or NP? Are you billing as a group for moms and do you bill Mom's insurance or baby's? Thanks
 
At my office, we have an LPN who is certified to do the consults and we bill the baby's insurance under the MD. The only insurance we had a problem with was UHC who stated we needed to bill under the nurse and not the MD.
