Our doctors own an ASC, which has the same tax ID as the doctors. So I'm wondering does anyone know if you can bill radilogy codes for the doctor and ASC. I'm reading some things that say you can't because of the same tax id. If this is the case should we be billing for the 76872 on the doctors claim without the 26 modifier. Also if you can bill radiology codes to the asc with the TC modifier. Do you have to have a radiologist to interpertate?? Sorry if this is confulsing. But if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
