Recently, my office administrator informed us that we were not being reimbursed for Vitamin D; 25 hydroxyl, CPT 82306 when drawn at AE visits. When coding the 82306 are others finding it billable/payable with a diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve or vegan/vegetarian diet? These would absolutely be other reasons to test for Vitamin D.

Any feedback would be so helpful and greatly appreciated!
