I am looking for info on billing hypnotherapy. I primarily want to know if we must use that code 90880 if hypnotherapy is done, or are we allowed to use a psychotherapy code if they do that along with hypnotherapy.

I need proof of whatever the answer is. Please provide links or attachments. Thanks
 
look up the coder's desk reference for hypnotherapy.

If hypnotherapy is provided and psychotherapy, only hypnotherapy is coded.
