Hey, we have a new doctor coming aboard this summer, making our total 6 and this will change our billing department. I currently have 3 billers who have the the insurance carriers divided amoung them with each one have a main carrier (i.e. Biller 1 has insurance carriers A-Z and Medicare). We have added a 4th biller and I was thinking of how to fairly distribute the work. My initial thought was each biller be responsible for particular doctors and maybe a major carrier??? Would love some feedback how other practices manage their claim follow-up and give ANY sugguestions!!!!
