Is there a CPT that can be billed when a MA is spending time with a patient going over how the take home sleep study for apnea apparatus works and how to hook it up to patient at home, etc.
 
New Code for 2016

99415 is for prolonged clinical staff time. Staff must document start and stop time and must be a minimum of 45 minutes. This is an add-on code so the provider would have to have seen the patient and an E/M billed that day.
