Wiki billing medicare cpt codes G0439 to a primary commercial payer

Just wondering if the patient is 68 years old, bcbs is primary, can you bill G0439 to bcbs?
 
BCBS of Mississippi accepts this code and we have been reimbursed for it. We only use it though when Medicare is the secondary payer. Since this is the AWV code for Medicare you will need to make sure that all the requirements for an AWV are completed. We have a rule in our practice that if a patient has Medicare as a primary or secondary payer and AWV must be scheduled and completed.
