Can G0283 for TNS therapy be billed for the patient's provider if they are not in the building? I realize that this is an "unattended" code, but does the patient's provider have to be in the building while the patient is receiving the TNS therapy? We have been billing these to another provider that is in the building if the patient's provider is not.

I would bill it under the provider who supervised in the office. Even though the code states 'unattended', it still must meet the 'incident to' requirements for coverage, one of which is that the provider must be in the office and available at the time it's performed.
