When billing pacer interrogations in a physician's office and a technician from pacer company does hook-up, reading, and downloads but DOES NOT bill any part, does the physician need to file the with a 26 modifier?
 
No. The physician would only code for the interrogation of the pacemaker without -26 (Professional Component) because the code includes analysis, review and report by the physician. This is just a thought but have you looked at CPT code 93288 and researching from there?
