Hello fellow billers:
I do the hospital billing for the neurologist group that I work for. They are still old school and give me paper charge cards with the cpt/dx and all visits written on them. How does other neurologist or any other physician's office, that the physicians see patients in the hospital get their charges? Is there an electronic way? I used to work for a physician that the charts of the persons they saw were in a que and I would open and bill from that, but I don't know what that was or how to explain to my manager if we can somehow switch to electronically getting the charts of patients seen sent to me. I work remotely and it would be a big help instead of the paper cards they use.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sincerely:
Donna S.
