My doctor is performing a ERCP with stent removal(43269) and the patient also has a large stone 15mm that she used lithotripsy(43265) on,in between doing the litho she used a balloon(43264) to extract the smaller stone but at completion of the procedure, was unable to complete lithotripsy. She performed the procedure for close to 1 1/2 hours, and decided to replace the CBD stent. The patient's insurance is HAP senior plus, I am looking to see how this is billed out to HAP and what modifiers do you use on the procedures? Any information will be helpful. :)
