I am trying to determine the best practice coding for bioimpedence testing for patients who have undergone a mastectomy? It was suggested using CPT 38999 - UNLISTED PROCEDURE, HEMIC OR LYMPHATIC.
Is anyone using this procedure and having success in getting payment from commercial payers and Medicare?
