Hello fellow coders.

I am needing some clarification on the cpt's for blood typing and crossmatch (86900-86922). My facility is wanting to charge these services multiple times per specimen. By reading the modifier descriptions, modifier 91 and/or 59 would not be appropriate. Can anyone help point me in the direction of some guidance in billing of these codes?
