I work for a Chiropractic Office. Blue Cross and Blue Shield does not pay for 97124 massage on the same day as the adjustment. If the adjustment and massage are on seperate days, they are paid.
The question is: If the patient wants a massage the same day as the adjustment, can we have them pay the cash price for the massage, and not bill the insurance company for the massage (only billing for the adjustment)?
