Can you code BMI dx without associated dx codes I.E. (obesity, overweight & stroke) ?.
 
Per ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, FY 2018, Page 17 of 117: The BMI, coma scale, and NIHSS codes should only be reported as secondary diagnoses.
