Someone recently asked me to help clarify a situation for them. Here is the query:

When a physician performs a Bravo & an EGD in an ASC setting, can the physician ONLY charge for the Bravo while the ASC gets to charge for the EGD?

Also, regarding the Bravo - Does the Bravo get billed out for the date it was placed OR does it get billed out for the date it is read?

They have been given a different response from two different sources. Can anyone help or maybe point me in the right direction?
