Does anyone have experience billing this? The physician owns the equipment. Would you bill 43239 or 43235 along with 91035. Would you make DOS for 91035 the date the test was read?

We bill these in our gastro practice. On the date the capsule is placed bill the appropriate EGD. Then on the date the Bravo monitor is returned and the data downloaded, bill the 91035. If the physician owns the equipement, do not add a modifier to the 91035 code. Bill it as a global charge.

Bravo

I have a practice who are doing a Bravo's. The dilemma is that they own the equipment and are doing the procedure in an ASC facility. We are getting denials because we are billing global with POS 24. The Bravo Rep is telling us for commercial payer we need to bill it with the date it's read and POS 11. Is this correct?
