I need help with coding the pH electrode studies (aka Bravo capsule) for both Facility and Physician charges.
I have done some research to show that the 91035 is to be billed for the insertion but an Diagnostic EGD (43235) or EGD with Bx (43239) can billed separately if the intent was not just to insert the electrode.
I also found that you can bill the 91035 Modifier 26 for the reading done when the capsule is retrieved and data is interpreted and dictated. with the date of the intrepretation being the date of service used.
Does anyone have any information they can share on the billing of these procedures
