Patient had excision of breat lesion. Now the patient has come back in to talk with the doctor because she now has breast cancer (174.9). He does breast talk with her and discusses treatment options etc. What modifier would be appropriate for this E/M since it is in the global for the excision. I have been using -24. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
