How would this procedure be coded? This is for the PC billing. Reading/interpretation of reports in Hospital setting only.

PROCEDURE: CHEST FLUOROSCOPY
CLINICAL HX: Bronchoscopy procedure.
"Examination obtained in the Department by Dr. X. The exam shows a bronchoscope in the area of the right hilum. the fluoroscopy time was 51 seconds."
IMPRESSION: Fluoroscopy was utlizied as an aid to doing a bronchoscopy.

71040, 71060, 71010? I have no clue?!

Was that all that was done? You don't have another report which states bronchoscopy done, right? If that's the case, I would advise to code fluoroscopy only - 76000. I am not sure of all this. Others' input welcome.
