Hey guys. I can't seem to find a code for an endoscopic trochanteric bursectomy. Any suggestions? Is it an unlisted code? My physician feels like 29863 is the closest thing but he didn't really do anything to the synovium as the description of the code suggests. His op note states "a skin incision was made proximal to and distal to the central aspect of the trochanter. The camera was then placed within the bursa. Insufflation of the bursa revealed multiple inflamed segments of the bursa. Distally, the shaver was placed and the bursa was then systematically excised. Tensor was visualized and incised longitudinally to allow for decompression of the bursa".
