Hi there--

I have a facility billing question-- What C code should be used to identify the ureteral stent for procedure code 50387? We have not done one of these in a long time. Currently we have C1758 set up to be attached to 50387, but I am getting a CCI edit saying that the required device code should be C1875, C1877, C2617, or C2625. The descriptions of all of these read to me like they represent true metal stents, except for maybe C2625, so we were leaning towards that one. Anyone else run into this? What are you billing?
