Hello,

I am hoping for help on a c-section delivery due to transverse but the provider also performed a podalic version and there is no specific cpt code. Would a modifier apply? Need help on this one?

Correct, there is no code for this. You can add a modifier -22 to the cesarean delivery code. This type of version involves turning the fetus so that one or both feet come through the cervix. It is done infrequently now due to the high risk involved so usually they just do a cesarean. It appears your provider tried this first, it did not work and so went on the the cesarean.
