I am interested in obtaining a full time, part-time, or PRN medical coding position. I am a Bachelor prepared Registered Nurse with 7 years of experience in a wide variety of areas. I completed coding classes through AAPC while in high school and obtained my CPC-A certification in 2010. I have used my coding knowledge in home health with OASIS review and QA as well as in a skilled nursing facility setting as a MDS Coordinator. I became recertified in May 2018. I currently use ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes daily as a utilization management nurse. I am looking to obtain a job in any area of medical coding available, however, I am very comfortable with home health coding and OASIS review.
