Pt had MRI of t-spine without contrast. Radiologist recommends that MRI w/contrast be done. Patient returns days later for MRI t-spine with contrast. Previous instructions I received are to bill this as a with and without and use the "completion" date as the DOS. Site states their protocol is to use the original DOS and add addendum to report. Any formal documentation out there on this? :confused:
