The patient is not post-op. In the office the provider cauterized a bleeding tongue lesion. Would it be correct to code 42960? Diagnosis is Hemangiona and Hemorrhage
 
42960 is for the oropharynx - if the documentation just says 'tongue lesion', I don't believe that would qualify. Without having reviewed documentation, I would go with 41599 - Unlisted procedure, tongue, floor of mouth instead.
