Hello everybody, good morning, I work for an IDTF Radiology center. We have been having a discussion regarding Chiropractors about what they are allowed to order and what they cannot order. I know for a fact that Chiros cannot refer any diagnostic testing for any Medicare or Medi-cal patients, however I have been told that chiros also cannot refer mris with contrast for any type of insurance.... Is this information correct? or incorrect? And the next question is Can Chiropractors order any MRIs CTs for private insurance or cash patients? Please help!
