Nasal cautery done with Mupirocin used and prescribed. Per note: "Mupirocin protocol discussed with patient. New patient."
Can I code 99203 along with 30901 procedure? Bleed control was done in nose which I will code as 30901, but can I also bill office visit too since mupirocin is prescribed? History and Exam are detailed/comprehensive. No other dx or symptoms are being addressed. No time element is noted.
Insurance is BC.
