I AM GETTING A LOT OF PUSH BACK FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT ON THIS ISSUE. WE HAVE ADDED ABOUT 3 OR 4 SPECIALISTS (ALL MD'S) TO OUR GROUP. SINCE THEY ARE ALL AWAITING TO BE ADDED TO OUR CONTRACTS, THE ADMINISTRATOR IS STATING THAT WE CAN BILL THESE DOCS WITH A SUPERVISING DOC WHO IS ALREADY CONTRACTED, UNTIL THEY ARE ADDED. SUP IS NOT IN ROOM OR EVEN IN SUITE OR BUILDING. WE CANT DO THIS CORRECT?? SOME KIND OF RESPONSE WOULD BE GREAT.

AM I RIGHT?

No this cannot be done, Rebecca Woodward I know has some official information on this if you send her a PM or seach her threads she has answered this question several times and has links to the particular rulings on this practice. But you cannot bill a physician under another physician.
