Wiki Can we bill IVUS during cardiac cath w intervention when IVUS only utilized to check positioning of stent?

Hi All,

I keep coming across these cases where the provider is only using IVUS during cardiac cath to check the positioning of the stent placed. In this case he placed a stent in the RC during Inferior MI then performed IVUS on the RC. This is taken directly from the OP NOTE: Intravascular ultrasound study of right coronary artery, significant for a stent that is well expanded with 3.7 mm with no edge dissection, well opposed.

Can we bill 92978-26-RC for this?
