Patient came with Left Knee fracture to ER setting on 07/31 at 10:30 PM . Dr A. AP has reviewed the patient and after the patient consent, Dr A reviewed the xray of knee and applied the Cast for knee fracture. Now patient go back to home with instruction of follow up after 2 weeks.
For this visit we billed 99283-25 and Cast cpt 29515-LT.
Now patient came in office setting on 05 Aug at 11:15 AM with problem of left knee pain and swelling. This time other provider DR B MD examined and reviewed prior records of the patient. So for 05 Aug office visit .. what is the correct E&M code.. Like as New patient or estb patient.
