For injection of joint capsule for capsulitis ... same as injection of joint? 20600-20611? Isn't a capsule actually made of ligaments? 20550?

I always use joint codes for capsulitis...20600. I am in WI and my LCD states no to 20550 with capsulitis dx. my doc does document joint injection

You could query your DR as to his intent.
