Cardiac monitor

We have a patient that we purchased a cardiac monitor for (as we will have many others in the future as well) that needs to be monitored when the patient defibrillator is off during treatment. Both of us coders are finding we cannot bill for this without the monitor printing out the rhythm. Have does experienced this in their centers and if so, how do you bill for it?
