My provider performed this procedure but he used femoral artery to gain access to perform the procedure and the description indicates cervical carotid access. Does anyone know if the access location truly matters when using this code? Thanks!

It would be 37215.
Further down in the explanation it says if it's a percutaneous approach, a needle is inserted through the skin into the access blood vessel, usually the brachial or femoral artery.
