If a carpal tunnel revision is performed with a nerve wrap, what code(s) would you suggest if performed at an ambulatory surgical center?

This is in the wrong section - you should have posted this to the Orthopaedics section.

That being said, there is no existing code that you can use for the nerve wrap. You can attempt to get reimbursed for the nerve wrap using the unlisted code 64999, comparing it to 64910 or similar. This generally requires preauthorization and may very well not be reimbursable at all.

The revision CTR would be coded 64721+22, and you'd need extensive documentation about the difficulty of the exposure through an altered surgical field to get reimbursed additionally for the +22 modifier.

There are HCPCS codes for the wraps themselves (in the "C" section) but they may not be separately reimbursed by the payor.

Thank you, this is my first time posting and it did say that an admin would move the question if not posted in the proper section. I will repost in the Orthopaedic section.
