I mentioned this in a post yesterday,
Our Dr met briefly with a case manager for a brief 15 minutes. It needs to be billed to Pinnacle risk management workers comp. Does anyone know the coding for this?
I forgot to mention that this is face to face. All I can find in the CPT book is phone case mgt. Is there a code for face to face?????

Check out 99366 - 99368. Then check with the carrier what their rules are for billing these codes. I'm in Washington State and our Labor & Industries (state workers comp) allows us to bill these codes when our Physician meets with the Case manager for less than 30 min, even though CPT indicates "servies of less than 30 minutes duration are not reported separately".
