I'm having issues with insurances starting to deny cast/splint supplies (Q4005-Q4024) as bundled with the splint application (29065-29125) as of the first of the year. The denials we are getting indicate the Q code is in global of the primary procedure even though the only procedure being performed is the application of splint/cast. Is there a new policy I'm missing? Example of what we are billing: 29065, Q4006. We are getting payment on 29065, but nothing on Q4006 anymore.
