Hey coders,

Can you please answer a question for me. Our cath's a rejecting stating inclusive to the stent. If we bill a 93548 (26), and I also bill a 92928 (RC) we are getting denials. Do we need a modifier 59 on the Catheterization.
 
Are you using the same diaganosis? I do use a 59 on the cath and I use different diagnosis to show why the diagnostice was done and the reason for the intervention with the other code.
