Could some on please help me with a code for cauterization of a varicose vein, performed in the office. The patient had a varicose vein on their ankle that would open and bleed. The Dr cauterized it in the office. I was wondering it would be included in the office visit, a 17999 code or a cardiovascular code. Any opinions is GREATLY appreciated.
