Does anyone know if using the first of the month date for CCM and RPM services is acceptable for the previous month's work? Example Codes 99490 and 99454 for Feb services with a bill date of 3/1/24 (after services have been completed)
 
I'd recommend using a date of service within the same calendar month that the service was provided. If a patient's insurance terminates at the end of February, billing with a March 1st DOS would deny for eligibility.
