What should be billed to get CT scans and CCTA scans paid?


We billed the 0146T and 0151T codes but they are all coming back saying invalid procedure codes.

Any suggestions on what anybody else bills or the process to get these paid?
 
These are Category III or temporary codes. Not all insurances pay these since they consider the procedure(s) investigational. You need to check with the individual carriers to find out if they are payable and (in most cases) get authorization prior to perfomring the test.
