If a LEFT and a RIGHT Central Line (36556) is placed in the ED do you code for both and would you put LT and RT modifiers?

If the procedure completed on both side you may have to confirm from your payer for modifiers. As some payers allow to use RT/LT with this CPTs and some asked to code with 59 modifier. We are billing both for scenarios as per payer.
