Full-time Certified Professional Coder needed for busy anesthesia practice with knowledge of anesthesia coding & compliance documentation a plus.
Responsibilities/Skills needed:
? Current CPC Certification required
? Minimum 2 years of coding experience
? Bachelor?s degree or Associate degree a plus
? Thorough understanding of ICD-9/CPT and also possess some ICD-10 training
? Proficient knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and medical/surgical terminology
? Strong knowledge of coding compliance policies and official coding guidelines
? Affinity for details
? Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
? Ability to successfully complete a coding proficiency exam
? Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
? Knowledge of Medicare provider requirements
? Efficient & accurate data entry skills
? 45 WPM
? Basic touch 10 key skills
? Other duties as assigned
