I keep receiving denials for billing 69210 (impacted cerumen/ear wax removal) and 92552 (Hearing test done as part of a routine well visit). Excellus says these two codes cannot be billed together. Has anyone dealt with this? The hearing test does not have a charge, since it is bundled with the well visit charge. However I believe it still needs to be reported. Any tips on how to deal with this so we can get paid for the Cerumen removal? Thanks!
