Wiki CEU's for both ICD-9 and ICD 10?

I have a question and maybe it has been answered already...Are we going to be required to maintain a certain number of CEU's for each ICD-10 and ICD-9? Like right now I am required to get 24 CEU's per year, so will I have to get those CEU's plus a certain number to keep the ICD-10 requirement too? (Kind of like we have to do if we carry different specialty certifications than it's so many extra CEU's just for each specialty above the normal 18 or 24).

? No. When we go to ICD-10 there would be no reason to require CEU's for ICD-9, right? Or did I misinterpret your question? :(
 
Sorry I'm late answering I was out of the office yesterday and didn't get internet access where I was.
My thought was we would be required the standard CEU's but I just didn't know if AAPC was going to require a split or not being that some company's aren't required to go to ICD-10. It was just a thought and like I said I hadn't seen anything posted regarding this...thank goodness right!!!
