Hi all,

I have been coding for quite some time now in Dermatology. I recently had an opportunity come up where I could change specialties to ophthalmology and I am curious if anyone has an experience in it. I would be going in blind basically and I just want to get some input on if it is a difficult specialty.

Thanks so much for any and all help :)

You'll have to learn a whole new set of eye abbreviations and become familiar with eye anatomy. It's very different from dermatology, but like learning any other specialty, once you get used to it, it's not so bad.
