Our histology lab prepares slides, then takes them to a hospital pathologist to read and issue the report. We bill the "TC". Now, the hospital pathologist has asked our lab to re-cut 2 slides on two pieces of a specimen, and send those slides to an outside pathologist in another city for consultation. Can we charge for those 2 re-cuts on the two parts of the specimen?
